A friendly reminder to Minnesota readers – local governments with moratoriums on the sale, manufacture and distribution of hemp-derived THC edibles will pursue violations. As reported last week by WCCO, three Minnesotans were cited for violating Champlin’s moratorium.
While we wait for the Minnesota legislature’s proposed legislation on adult-use recreational cannabis and how it will likely affect the 2022 hemp-derived THC edible law, the patchwork moratoriums across Minnesota will remain. To assist in easing some confusion on where moratoriums exist, we created a publicly available survey on moratoriums in Minnesota. Consider reaching out with questions before selling, manufacturing or distributing hemp-derived THC edibles in Minnesota.
